Five launches, one open

If the reviews you are reading seem to describe different products, that is because they do. Mark Ling has released a new programme each September, and only one of them is currently for sale.

Why this matters when reading reviews

Something written in 2024 is describing a closed product. The part that still transfers is how the seller ran that launch, which is genuinely worth knowing; the modules and the tactics it lists belong to a programme nobody can buy.

Read old material for the seller. Read current material for the programme. Mixing them produces confident opinions about something that no longer exists.

Why the programme changes annually

Because the underlying tactics keep moving. An approach designed before short video took over attention is not the approach that works this year, and rebuilding annually forces somebody to throw out whatever stopped working.

A course sold continuously never faces that test. It is available any day you want it and it is teaching the internet as it stood when the camera was switched off. Paying for currency means accepting a two-week door, and that is the whole trade.

How to tell which year a page is describing

The price and the closing date, in that order. Both change between launches, both are stated on any page that is genuinely current, and their absence is itself informative.

A page enthusiastic about a Mark Ling programme that never names a figure or a date is usually describing a launch that closed, written by someone who has not updated it since.

What carries across every year

What twenty years of the same seller tells you

Not that a programme is right for you, which no track record can establish. What it does establish is that the launch will run as described, access will work, and the person selling it will still be here in twelve months.

That is a lower bar than "is this good" and it is the bar most sellers in this category fail. Clearing it is worth noting before moving on to the harder question.

What is different this year

This year's programme is organised around converting public comments into private conversations on the short-form platforms, which is where the attention has gone. That is a change of method, not a change of label.
