The early years

Why the repetition is the informative part

Sellers who take money and disappear do not return the following September, under the same name, in public, to an audience that remembers what happened last time. Coming back annually is expensive if the previous round went badly, which is what makes it a signal rather than a claim.

Most operators in this category run one launch and are never seen again. Against that baseline, five consecutive years is unusual enough to weigh.

What it does not establish

Whether this year's programme suits you. Longevity addresses a specific risk - that the launch will not run, that access will not arrive, that nobody will be there in November - and it addresses that risk well.

It says nothing about whether the method fits how you want to work. The free sessions running this month are the only thing that answers that, and they cost nothing.

The thing a long record cannot buy

Relevance. A method that worked brilliantly a decade ago is worth nothing now, and seniority in this field carries no protection against being out of date.

Which is why the annual rebuild matters more than the twenty years does. The history tells you somebody will be there; the rebuild is what tells you the material has been made to face this year rather than remembered from an easier one.

Search the name alongside the platform he founded and read what comes back from sources that are not his own. Then search a previous product name - real launches leave real traces, including complaints, and their presence is reassuring rather than otherwise.
