The shape, and why it is worth recognising
Free material first, credibility second, the ask third, reminders last. Conventional, and knowing it tells you which mailings carry new information and which are re-asks — four of the eight contain nothing you have not already been told.
The stage most people underestimate
The decision window. Nine days is generous by this category's standards and it is long enough to forget about. The volume of mail rises near the end, which is normal and is not a change in the underlying date.
What is genuinely dated
The sessions, the replay windows, and the close. Everything else — seat scarcity, "do not miss out" — is copy carrying no date.
Real dates against urgency copy.
After the 24th
Closed until the next annual run. This desk logs any change rather than forecasting one.
