1999 to 2026, in order
This desk tracks the September 2026 launch. That launch is the fifth consecutive year of the same annual event under the same name, which makes the record before it relevant — not as opinion, but as dates.
The sequence
| Period | What ran | Traffic source of the era |
|---|---|---|
| 1999 | First commission earned | Banner placement |
| 2006 onward | Teaching begins | Search and content |
| Late 2000s | Affilorama, Traffic Travis | Google search |
| Intervening years | Facebook, paid social, YouTube, native, email | Roughly seven channels in total |
| Recent | Profit Helix | Own products, memberships |
| Sep 2026 | Commission Cycle, fifth annual run | Instagram, YouTube, DM automation |
Where this month sits
The VIP session ran 12 September. The four public sessions run 14 and 15 September at 3pm and 8pm Eastern. The cart closes 24 September 2026, 11:59pm Pacific. That is the entire event window, and it is nine days wide.
The full schedule is here and the dates that actually expire are here.
Why the old dates matter to the current one
Because an annual launch is a different kind of business from a one-off. Five consecutive years under one name means every year's buyers are still reachable and still able to say publicly how the last one went, which is a constraint the one-launch-and-vanish model does not have.
It does not say the 2026 method works. It says the seller has to still be there in 2027, which is a narrower and more checkable claim.

What five consecutive years changes
An annual launch has a property a one-off does not: last year's buyers are still around when this year's runs. They are reachable, they remember what they were told, and they are in the same forums as the people deciding now.
That is a constraint on the seller rather than a compliment to them. It means a year that went badly is visible during the next one, which is the practical reason a recurring event tends to be a safer purchase than a first-ever one from an unknown name.
This desk has logged the previous runs here.
Where the record stops being useful
At the point it turns into a prediction. A twenty-six year record establishes that the seller will still be reachable in November and that the product will exist as described. It does not establish that this year's method suits you, and the slide from one to the other is how careful people talk themselves into things.
The free sessions on 14 and 15 September test the method directly, which is the part the record cannot reach. Registration is here.
One note on terminology
Webinar, workshop and sessions all refer to the same four calls. Profit Engine Live is the event; Commission Cycle is the product sold at it. Nothing on this desk treats them as separate things, because they are not.
